"No wonder they wanted to make sure he couldn't cause any more damage, even if it was partially his brother he was still the puppet, get rid of the puppet and the controller can't do anything"

Skye sighed "Can we just not talk about this please? I'd rather not think about it ... ok?"

Carlos tried to make everything sound like it wasn't Skye's fault at all, but more so Leiard's. "...And that's about it." Carlos concluded.

Dresden listened intently to what Carlos had to say, whilst Skye stood and stared down at the floor. Hearing Carlos repeat everything just made it all seem so much worse than it actually was.

Carlos began to explain everything that he knew about Skye and what he had been through, trying to defend his friend and prove that he wasn't as bad as he could've seemed.

Dresden looked to Carlos "What do you mean? 'Wasn't by accident' or 'Wasn't his fault'"

Skye tried to siddle off and retreat back to his skull, he didn't really want to talk about it because some of it was his fault.

Carlos rubbed his head with his hand and let out a deep sigh. "He hasn't done anything that wasn't an accident or that was his own fault." The dark haired male explained.

"I don't know, I was actually hoping you could tell me that..." Harry started but was inturrupted by Skye.
"Well we don't know but we sure as hell would like to! Maybe myself more than him but I'd love to know what I did to tick him off so much that he killed me!"
Dresden blinked ".. havn't you done anything really bad?"
The red head fell silent and thought for a little while.

"Okay, why is he targetting me? And who the bloody hell is he?" Carlos demanded to know every little detail.

"Which would kinda explain why I'm stuck like this and that jerks still.. breathing"

"Because it's gunna safe your ass! Why not someone else? You're the guy this Mr. Lenningtons targeting"

"Nice guys finish last."

Carlos was beginning to get tired of being silent. "Why the heck do I have to learn magic?! Why not someone else?"

"I was trying to be nice" Skye pointed out

Carlos huffed and crossed his arms tightly.

Bob took a quick glance at the dark haired male and rolled his eyes. "Stubborn is an understatement."

"SHEESH!" Harry said as he raised his hands "Ok ok! Just calm down!"

Rolling his eyes Skye sighed "Stubborn git..."
The red head was still pretty damned confused and scared about what was going on.

Carlos growled angrily. "Whatevers going on, I'm not having a part of it. AND I'm. Not. Learning. Magic." The dark haired male snapped, glaring at Harry.

"Forgot the mention he's thick as two short planks" he grumbled "Must be the green dye he uses..."
Rubbing his head Harry sighed, yet again.
"They do exist, and the white council.. well... basically they're the people that govern everything related to magic"

"Two of them are standing right here, and the others don't exist." Carlos said bluntly. "... What the bloody hell is the white council?" The dark haired male was slightly bemused by the mention of such a stupid name.

"Big trouble. Vampires, Ghosts, Werewolves, Warlocks .. oh and the white council who I believe you're friend already got to" He said with a guesture to Skye.

"Well, I actually bend the rules of being mortal. The whole silver thing..." Carlos added in a mumble. "Anyway, what trouble?" He asked Dresden, slightly panicking.

"Because if you don't you and your mate are gunna be in alot of trouble.."

This caught Skye attention.
"What do you mean by trouble... christ he's fucking mortal..."

Carlos refused bluntly. "Why do I have to?" Carlos asked with his arms crossed.

"Well you're going to have to" Harry said rather simply.

Bob merely stared at the red head for a moment, before continuing with his story.

"Uhh... Me and magic don't get on." Carlos said nervously. "Never tried it, never want to."

Skye laughed nervously and tried to explain to Bob that he was 19 and didn't know much about the kind of things he was going on about.

"Magic?"

Bob continued to talk, he almost seemed excited when telling some parts of his story. Though those brief moments of excitement were the only time his expression changed.

Carlos raised an eyebrow slightly, completely forgetting about what Harry had said earlier. "Uhh... What?"

That was the last thing Skye had been expecting an old-ish looking man to be talking about.

Dresden rolled his eyes and rubbed his eyes with his finger and thumb.
"So you're a complete novice?"
