Zombies Unleashed

The dark haired male didn't dare go back to the safe area if something like that were to happen again. Slumping down after 30 minutes of running, he held his head in his hands.

The red head's legs gaveway causing him to fall to his knees, tears trickling down his cheeks. Leiard walked out of the house laughing making his way towards Skye.
"There goes another one"

The dark haired male turned on his heel and began to flee, terrified by what had happened.

He couldn't even look at Carlos, he was so upset. Staring down at the floor he tried not to cry.

The effects wore off as quickly as they had appeared, stumbling slightly the dark haired male rubbed his head. His breathing more heavy than before, he looked at the red head with fear in his eyes.

Skye stood completely still looking Carlos directly in the eye. Another person his brother had got to. Thankfully it hadn't happened whilst Carlos was in the saftey zone.

Carlos began to walk towards the red head. The only things that bared any resemblance to the zombies was the slight groan emitting from his mouth and the slouched posture. Other than that, he seemed perfectly human; walking with no limp and eroded flesh.

The red head stumbled backwards slightly and tried not to run.
"H-He's.. He's still C-Carlos.." Skye repeated trying to stay calm.

The dark haired male slouched and his arms fell to his side, glancing at the red head, he let out a loud groan.

The red head glanced up at the window to see his brother smirking nastily down at the two of them, it clicked. Leiard had toyed with Carlos the way he had done other people. This angerd the Skye greatly. Clenching his fists he tried not to cry.

"Nothing..." Carlos replied quietly and continued to rub his neck.

"... what's wrong..." the red head asked

Carlos continued to refuse, every time Skye asked him to leave. Feeling a twinge in his neck, he rubbed it agitatedly.

Skye shook his head and pleaded with his friend to just go. The older man watched with a smirk on his face, waiting for what he'd injected Carlos with to kick in.

Carlos sighed. "This is my fault anyway... I just want to help."

Skye shook his head.
"JUST GO!" He shouted, the stutter gone.
His blue and purple eyes filled with fear and concern for his friend.
"I'll be fine.. just go... please..."

The smile on the dark haired males face quickly turned to a frown as Skye spoke. "No way. I'm not leaving with you."

Skidding to a halt in front of Carlos, he bent over to catch his breath. His face had bruises across one side.
"..g-go...home"

The dark haired male saw the red head run out of the building. A smile spread on his face.

Leiard could sense Carlos and rolled his eyes.
"Stupid boy" Walking upstairs he opened Skye's door "Seems you've got a visitor"
The red head looked up at his brother, before standing up and looking out of his window. Seeing Carlos he pushed past his brother and ran downstairs and out of the house to try and tell Carlos to go before Leiard hurt him more than he already had.

The dark haired male could see the home of the man that he had trusted, and he glared at it. One hand glasped the shoulder where he had been shot the other was clenched into a tight fist. His breathing was heavy as he walked towards the building, determined to get his friend back.

A few hours later the red head was huddled up in his old bedroom having found himself locked in there by Leiard. He already had bruises all over. Skye knew better than to let it show how much it hurt but it was hard.
Burrying his head in his knees the young boy cried quietly.

The dark haired male sighed as the two brothers walked away, he gave a weak glare to his father and pulled away from him before beginning to walk away. The males father let out a slight growl. "Get back here. You're in no condition to go off on your own." Carlos let out a sigh and continued to walk away from his father.

"Someone has some sense" Leiard looked at Carlos before turning his back and leading Skye away.
The red head stared down at the floor silently, body language reading fear, sadness and anger.

Carlos let out another growl and began to make his way towards Leiard, but he soon halted by his father who pulled him back.
