Zombies Unleashed

Sighing he shook his head and stood up slowly, stumbling holding his chest as he did so.

The look of concern soon morphed into more of an upset expression. "Well... Not really... If it weren't for you... I wouldn't even be here right now..."

"I.. I'll just get in your way if I stay here" he said quietly not looking up.

Glancing over at the red head, Carlos' expression filled with concern. "Go?... Why?"

Sighing and looking back to the floor Skye stopped pestering him. Though he was concerned he didn't push the matter.
Holding his chest absent mindedly he told Carlos he should be going.

"If it's not life threatening, it's not important." He said simply.

"but..." Skye looked up at him pleedingly

Carlos shook his head quickly. "It's fine. It's not like it's a bite."

"You should get someone to look at them..."

Despite his concern for his friend, he decided to drop the subject. "They're fine. Don't sting as much now."

Sighing he shook his head.
"... doubt it... but that doesn't matter...." the red head said quietly as he brushed his fringe from his face.
"How are your cuts...?"

"Take that as a no." He said as he began to stroll around. "You could always ask the medic if he could help."

There was no reply, he merely looked away. To tell the truth he wasn't any better, but he didn't want anyone knowing. His chest ached and he didn't have his medication with him.

"You feeling any better?" He asked as he remembered how Skye had almost collapsed the day before.

Skye looked up, somewhat stunned that Carlos was even talking to him.
Smiling nervously back Skye greeted him in return.

The truth was that Carlos was anything but angry. Pushing himself to his feet, he walked outside to get some fresh air. He soon stood in front of the red head, a small smile on his face. "Mornin'"

Skye hadn't gotten much sleep, he'd been waking up every five minutes to sneak into the house and check if Carlos was ok. Now the dark haired male was awake Skye couldn't pluck up the courage to go and see if he was ok, he was scared that he'd made Carlos angry.

As the sun rose in the morning, everyone inside the house seemed to still be asleep... Aside from Carlos. He sat on the sofa, staring at the deep wound in his wrist.

After a few hours the red head had curled up and fallen asleep outside of the house.

Willing to accept the boys wishes, Vincent nodded in understanding. "When you're ready, go to bed. You've had a rough day." He said before giving the red head and quick pat on the back and walking back into the house.

Skye shook his head. He couldn't for a few hours, if he did sleep he knew there was a possibility he wouldn't wake.

Vincent smiled at the red head and encouraged him to get some rest.

Skye sighed and rubbed his arm nervously. He was absolutly shattered but knew sleeping wasn't an option when his chest was hurting like this.

Shrugging, his smile spread more. "Doesn't mean you can't check up on him every now and then."

Skye shook his head and explained at Carlos seemed to be annoyed and wanting time by himself.
