Jurassic Hijinks

"What? Like... Outside this place?" He asked as he turned to face Kyle once again, clearly curious.

"I wouldn't advise going outside at all, it's not safe"

Carlos raised an eyebrow slightly. "I'll bare that in mind." He said before walking into his new home.

"You're welcome, and take care ok? If you say you've hit your head next time fall over on the way towards the medic and hit your head, might just save your life"

The dark haired male thanked Kyle with a smile. "I might pop over every now and then, though like I said; I don't know when the next... Time skip will be."

Walking out of the medics Kyle lead Carlos to his house where he could stay, explaining that he didn't have to if he didn't want to put up with Ayra shouting at Leiard all the time.

Carlos nodded in agreement and allowed the older male to lead the way.

"Well that's good... shall we get going then?" He asked as he stood up and brushed his fringe from his face.

Carlos smiled and shook his head. "Nothing else that needs medical attention, really." He said honestly before standing up.

"Let's just hope you're right" He smiled "... We don't really need to be here now, unless you have some other complaint to see the doctor about"

Carlos merely smiled at this and tried to reassure Kyle. "That's in a completely different scenario though. This is different, so who knows? Your kids might be different."

Kyle sighed and rubbed his forehead shakily.
"Well it's nice to know Leiard appriciated us" he couldn't help but try and joke about the whole situation.

"Well... It was Leiard's fault you died... He kinda... Possessed Skye and made him kill you and your wife." Carlos was no beginning to talk in a whisper, as he didn't want anyone else to hear. "Skye blamed himself for it all, and he's.. Well... Kind of insecure about it all."

"... What happened to Skye and Leiard after we died..." Kyle asked, clearly rather upset by being told that he hadn't seen his sons grow up.

Carlos nodded. "Yeah. Though... This is gonna sound weird... You're supposed to be dead. And your wife. Skye is supposed to be in his late teens and Leiard... Well... He's still an ass now, but he's meant to be more of an ass." Carlos began to explain how everything was in the future that he had become accustomed to.

"Well.. other people might consider you loopy but I don't" He leant back in the chair and streched "If what you're saying is true then you'll know that me and my family arn't from this dimension, we just got stuck here, now we can't get back to Aracia"

"I don't know... Specifically how much time I've got left in this period, but every time Veltan makes a change I move with that change and have no idea what the heck is going on in that new period... Which is why I feel like whenever I talk about it people think I'm mad." He admitted, as he looked Kyle straight in the eyes.

Kyle nodded and waited for Carlos to continue.

"This is gonna make me sound crazy... In the future that I know; Your son is a student of mine and is set to be a god or something. With each change that Veltan makes to past, everyone's personalities and memories change aside from mine cos I know that he's doing it." Carlos explained, unsure wether he should continue talking.

Kyle blinked, he couldn't quite believe what he'd heard.
"My Skye... he doesn't understand anything about that kind of thing yet.. how..."

Carlos couldn't help but chuckle at that comment. "Yes, actually. Your son; Skye. He told me not to tell him anything."

"I know Veltan, but he disapeared a couple of months ago... Christ.. hasn't anyone ever told you not to mess around with time?"

Carlos rubbed his head and shut his eyes for a moment before continuing. "I'm not sure if you know him; But I know a guy called Veltan, I met him the past and accidentally told him about how he was in the future. So now he's been messing around and altering time which makes me get sent to alternate ways the would will be when I'm the age I am now."

Kyle sat himself down next to Carlos and nodded.
"ok... and how did you get here?"

Carlos contemplated explaining his situation for a few minutes, before deciding it was best that he should say (despite the fact that the last time he did people thought he was insane.) He let out a sigh before speaking. "Well... Thing is... I didn't hit my head." He trailed off for a moment before returning to the topic. "I really have no idea what's going on as I haven't been here at all. I'm from a totally different... Well... Not time period... But an alternate future."
