Jurassic Hijinks

"But... schools don't exist yet..."

Letting out a deep sigh, Carlos rubbed his head. "You run a school that my friend goes to and that I work at."

"Boss... I ...I don't understand" the child looked more confused that he had done previously.

Carlos stopped and turned to face the boy. Edward seemed to take interest as well as he looked over at the dark haired male with a goofy smile on his face. Carlos spoke; "Me and my friend know you in the future, you're actually my boss."

Veltan blinked and tilted his head.
"What do you mean?"

Glancing back at the young boy, Carlos shrugged once again. "The fact that we already know who you are."

"WHAT DIDN'T HE WANT YOU TO TELL ME!" He shouted after Carlos

Carlos rolled his eyes, uncaring of the boys confusion. He merely continued to walk in the opposite direction.

Veltan looked utterly clueless.
"Guilty? What.. why.. why would I do that?"
It was obvious that the child version of Veltan was completely different to the adult.

Rolling his eyes, he crossed his arms. "Don't try and make me feel guilty just so I feel I have to stay with you"

Veltan sighed.
"I ... I don't have much of a choice. I was the only.. human here until you and your... friend? came"

Glancing back at the young boy and his dinosaur, Edward seemed to nod and agree with Veltan. "You were out on your own. So, it must be safe."

"It's not safe to go off on your own..." Veltan tried to tell Carlos.

Grumbling insults about his friends intelligence, Carlos turned and began to walk in the opposite direction that his friend had taken.

Skye, now very agitated, glared back and stormed off.

"I'm not gonna tell him anything!" Carlos snarled in reply. "Don't treat me like i'm an idiot." He grumbled, glaring coldly at his student.

"OH FOR FUCKS SAKE" Skye growled " Get it through your THICK SKULL! D.O.N.'.T D.O I.T! DON'T TELL HIM A THING"

Carlos merely stared at his friend. "... You're comparing real life... To a fictional sci-fi TV show."

"DIDN'T YOU EVER WATCH DOCTOR WHO?!?!?!? TARDIS. T.A.R.D.I.S TIME AND RELATIVE DIMENSION IN SPACE!" Skye tried to explain "We explain everything that happens in the future to him and BOOM the whole of time and space gets reprocusions!!!"

"How could it bloody change anything?" He asked, clearly bemused by the subject at hand.

"CARLOS LISTEN TO ME!" Skye yelled clearly trying to get through to his friend "We tell him what we know EVERYTHING could change!"

"All that couldn't happen just by us telling a little kid a bit of the future." Carlos said simply, clearly unaware of any danger.

The red head's eyes widened "EVERYTHING! You might not be born and if you are you might be a girl! Hitler could win the second world war for all we know!"

Carlos' reply was a quick shrug.
"What could we mess up?"

Skye rubbed his head.
"I don't know... what happens if we mess everything up by letting him know?"
Veltan now looked utterly confused.
