Apocalypse Now

Sitting down on the floor in front of the sofa, he watched his friend and decided against asking about what had happened.

Skye nodded numbly and took the food and drink which he'd been handed.

Carlos soon returned with a glass of water and a rather large sandwich. "I assume the waters okay here." He said and knelt down next to Skye, handing him the beverage and food.

Even if he'd had the energy to get up he doubted he would've. For once he actually listened to his former tutor and stayed on the sofa.

Forcing the door open, the older male walked inside and rested Skye down on a sofa. "Just stay here and don't move." Carlos said sternly as he went to the kitchen to get his friend some food and something to eat.

The red head was now shaking very badly, it had taken alot of effort to keep the vortex open and safe long enough for them to both travel through it.

Smiling slightly at the sight of the house, he began to walk towards the door finally relieved to be in a safe area.

The house was directly in front of him, Skye couldn't risk either of them being outside of the safe zone at all.

Reaching the other end of the vortex, Carlos looked around to see where they had ended up.

Skye smiled weakly, it was clear he hadn't been fed or treated well at all, his arms were like match sticks, his whole body was frail and felt/looked like it could break at any moment.

"I obviously didn't want you to waste any energy, but fine." He explained as he walked through the vortex carrying his friend on his back.

"Why not do it the easier way?" he asked as he opened a vortex, it took almost all the remaining energy he had to do so but he managed to.
It was clear he didn't want to be outside of the barrier any longer.

Smiling, Carlos replied; "Duh. You don't need to tell me twice." He lifted his friend onto his back and began walking back in the direction he had came though he had no idea in which direction the house was.

The red head gave no chance for words from the male instead he insisted they got straight back to the safe house.

Shocked by getting some form of reaction, he began to run in the direction he had heard the call come from. Finally seeing his friend, a wide smile spread across his face as he ran and stood next to him to help him stand.

Hearing Carlos the red head blinked and tried to shout a response, though it came out weaker than planned it was still loud enough for the older man to hear.

Continuing to wander having no idea where exactly he was heading due to no landmarks, he called out to friend not really expecting a reply.

The demons decided to play with Carlos a bit, using his friend as a bait. Daziel had been starving Skye for the past two weeks and decided that it would be the perfect time to send him outside.

Skye wasn't far from Carlos, leaning against a tree struggling to stop his legs from giving in beneath him.

Despite the amount of time elapsed, the dark haired male still showed no signs of giving up. He had travelled a long way from the safe home that he had left and was determined to go back only when he had found his friend.

Weeks passed with no sign of the red head, or anything living for that matter.

Letting out a deep sigh, the man slumped down on the ground and rubbed his head. There was no way he was going to give up, not this early on the search. Heaving himself to his feet, he continued his search of the area.

No reply came. The place was completely and utterly silent, there was no sound apart from the movement of Carlos' own feet.

Carlos looked around and occasionally called out for his friend in hope of an answer. His concern for his friend seemed to have taken over his thought of need for defense as he wandered around only armed with his small knife once again.

Llywelyn was currently still asleep, he hadn't been sleeping well for a long time and this was the first time he'd actually been able to rest properly.

The demons meanwhile were keeping a close eye on Carlos, watching his every move.

Carlos was now more concerned than ever. He could be anywhere by now. he thought to himself as he wandered outside of the safety barrier hoping to find his friend somewhere and also hoping that he hadn't been followed by demons or his friend, Llywelyn.
