Alive and Haunting

"Well it's nice to see you too" Skye mumbled under his breath at the man who stood in the doorway "Fantastic way to great someone you havn't seen in a month don't you think?"
He asked as he barged into the house not wanting to stay outside any longer.

The older male let out a sigh of annoyance as he rubbed at his head. "What now..." He grumbled as he heaved himself to his feet, sleeping his feet into a pair of checkered vans as he walked to the front door.
Pulling the door with some force (more for effect than anything else), the dark haired male pouted and pulled his sunglasses down slightly, peering over them with his piercing blue eyes.
"What?" He said impatiently.

Not that Carlos was going to get much time to be outside in the rare day of decent weather. Before long a knock came from his front door.
A young man stood waiting with his arms crossed. He seemed to be trying his hardest to stay in the shadow.

Unlike his uncle, Carlos' life seemed to consist of either being thrown into bizarre situations that he would often refuse to believe or, slightly more often, getting stuck in a classroom with twenty or so teenagers willing to mock his secret. Lycanthropy. An easy thing to mock, when you think about it. Whenever the teacher had his back turned he'd either hear a student pretending to howl or bark at him. Any retaliation would result in him being called a dog and getting told to sit if he wanted a treat. A treat for him would be to rip the students throats open, but of course that wouldn't stand well with the head master (let alone the parents).
His home life, however, consisted of being mocked by another teenager; his daughter. Though he often spent time on his own, away from his wife a child. Then his home life would consist of settling down in his recording stuido whilst relaxing. Or marking work; whichever seemed more interesting (obviously not the latter for a man in his mid-twenties). His hobby was obviously a lot less dangerous than his uncle's, and of course and lot more legal. Not that he disapproved of what his uncle was doing, after all; it was to stop the government from destroying pretty much everything (at least, that's what Kyle and Carlos thought. An opinion not shared by everyone).
This particular weekend was a change from Carlos' regular routine, he actually had time to relax in his garden. Shirtless, arms behind his head and simple looking sun glasses on. That's usually what he'd be sporting whilst outside in his garden, relaxing on a chair attempting to get a tan in the rather pathetic British summer.

Sitting down at his desk and working on his computer was what most of Kyle Porter's life consisted of. Hacking was his hobby and life. He'd been doing it since Secondary School and taken it futher than just unblocking sites teachers don't want 11 year olds to see.
At this moment in time he was looking at something that was going on in a nearby lab, to be perfectly honest it was a little eerie. The essay went on about opening a porthole to the spirit world.
Shuddering the man began to the delete all the progress the team had made, it was the last thing anyone wanted, ghosts causing havoc amoung the living.
Standing up and stretching he left his computer to it.
