To Kill A Mockingbird

With a yelp the red head fell to the floor. Putting his hands forward he broke the fall, although that wasn't really going to help matters. The young boy had fallen into a rather large puddle and was a bit out of breath from the running.

Carlos began to break into a sprint, pushing Skye along as he did so determined to get away quickly and safely.

Skye nodded and did as he was told, avoiding any large amounts of water that he came across.

"Just follow me." Carlos said whilst keeping an eye on Veltan and Leiard.

The young boy was shaking and clearly cold as well as scared.

Blinking, Carlos nodded and ran over to Skye. "C'mon." He said as he held the umbrella over their heads.

Veltan threw an umberella at the two of them.
"Just becareful! Don't take him through puddles"

The teenager stood completely shocked, having no idea what to do. "Uhh..." He hesitated, trying to think how he was supposed to move Skye without getting him wet.

Looking to where Carlos had pointed something clicked, the silver haired male growled angrily and tackled Leiard to the floor whilst ordering Carlos to get Skye somewhere safe and dry.

Raising his arm, he pointed at Leiard shakily hoping that Veltan could see him.

The blue haired male turned around at the same time as Veltan.
"Hrmm?" Veltan asked

Terrorfied of what Leiard was going to do, Carlos spoke. "...Veltan?" He said shakily, whilst keeping an eye on Leiard.

Veltan kneeled down in front of Skye.
"You didn't pay attention to the weather did you"
The young boy shook his head. Neither could see Leiard approaching them still.

Carlos continued to stand silently, actually terrorfied of Leiard.

"Good...." the man trailed off walked towards them.
It was almost as if Veltan couldn't see the male walk towards them, or the red head.

Shivering, the dark haired teenager nodded in understanding and remained silent.

"Stay quiet and I won't have to harm you" he continued to whisper in Carlos' ear

Jumping, the teenager tried to turn but felt the mans nails dig into his shoulders. Wincing, he began to shake slightly.

"boo..." The man whispered in Carlos' ear.
Placing his hands on the boys shoulders firmly Leiard dug his nails in.

The teenager stood with his hands in his pocket and his eyes trailed around his surroundings as he stood in an almost day dream like state.

Unfortunatly for Carlos ahis inability to notice what was going on around him meant that he was the perfect target for the male he and the red head had been running from.

Carlos sighed and stood in the rain, not really paying attention to the two males in front of him or his surroundings.

The red head was completely dry, not a drop of rain seemed to have touched him.
"Least you didn't stay out in it...." Veltan's tone of voice seemed to have changed completely.

Standing back as Veltan walked towards the red head, Carlos sighed and shivered.

Eventually Veltan reached Skye. The older male was dripping wet. He smiled slightly to himself as he walked towards him slowly.
