To Kill A Mockingbird

"GET BACK INSIDE" He said angrily as he turned to face Carlos.

The teenager snarled and barged the door open as Veltan left and began to run after him.

"He's not in the house" Was all the older man said before walking out of the house slamming the door shut behind him.

"Well, I figured that since you woke me up I have a right to an explaination of what happened." Carlos said with an innocent smile, clearly rather proud of being logical for once.

The man was downstairs now pulling a coat on, shirtless. Bandages now covered his chest.
"Go back to bed" He snapped angrily, noticing Carlos was following him.

Carlos stared at the man as he left, overcome with confusion and curiousity. Flopping out of the bed, he began to follow Veltan quietly.

Cursing the man stormed out of the room, clearly deeply concerned about the young males wareabouts(Iknowthatsnothowyouspellit)

Moaning and grumbling, Carlos rubbed his eyes wearily and looked at the silver haired male rather annoyedly. "He came here a while ago..." He stopped to yawn. "Don't know where he is now."

Before long a loud knock came from outside of Carlos' room. Not waiting for a reply Veltan stormed in and walked over to Carlos, shaking him.
"Have you seen the boy" He asked, voice showing an awful lot of concern.

The dark haired teenager still lay curled up on his bed, his covers tightly pulled around him to keep hime warm.

Outside snow was falling, the ground was almost completely covered. Skye smiled and continued to walk around, not noticing the cold.
A few hours passed and the young boy decided he ought to head back before anyone realised he'd left.

Before long, the teenager had found himself asleep snuggled up in his bed.

Finding no-one was downstairs to stop him from going out he opened the door and left the premisis.

The teenager curled up on his bed, letting out a sigh; he felt bad for lying to the red head. Staying still he began to wonder if he should've told him the truth.

Sighing the red head left, knowing that he was being lied to. Stuffing his hands in his pockets he walked towards the exit, he hadn't been outside for quite a while and wanted some fresh air.

Staring at the red head for a while, he sighed. "I just don't feel well, is all." He grumbled.

Skye didn't believe a word of it and stayed standing looking at Carlos.

The smile soon faded from the teenagers face as he closed his eyes and let out a sigh. "It doesn't matter, okay?" He tried to reassure the red ehad that he was fine, taking care not to mention the state that Veltan was in.

Although he wasn't good at the language he wasn't stupid. Crossing his arms he half glared and half huffed waiting for the answer to his question.

Smiling slightly at the red head, he attempted to change the subject without answering the boys question.
"You're getting better at English."

A knock came on the door, not even waiting for an answer the young boy pushed the door open. Looking directly at Carlos he tried to ask what was wrong, although it didn't come out right.
His English had improved slightly, but his grammer and understanding of the words still needed to be improved on, alot.

The teenager slumped down on his bed and let out a shaky sigh as he continued to brood on what Veltan had said to him.

Veltan sighed as Carlos left, knowing that he was protecting the boy by not telling him.

Carlos felt rather upset by this statement, feeling as if he wasn't worth Veltan's time due to his comment he heaved a sigh and left the room; heading for bed.

"... It's not about age" Veltan said wearily "I'll tell you soon enough, when you need to know. At this moment in time you don't need to know..."
Sighing he sat down after patching himself up.
