Apocalypse Now

Snorting slightly, Carlos couldn't help but agree. "Still... I doubt he has the skills to lead an entire army against us. He isn't exactly that assertive."

"I guess... but... he does have a nasty temper...."

Skye grumbled under his breath whilst continuing to listen to his former tutors.

"Uhh... No. Do you really think Skye, of all people, would lead those monsters against us of his own free will?"
Carlos crossed his arms and leant back in his chair, awaiting some sort of logical answer.

Llywelyn blinked.
"Skye? The last thing I heard about him was that he was leading the demons against us...."

The red head listening in on the conversation shuddered at hearing this, if Llywelyn had thought that he knew any remainging human would think the same, although it hadn't been him leading the demons entirely.

"I didn't." He said simply and shrugged. "Skye led me here, and it's perfect."

"Not really"
Llywelyn smiled and streched looking around.
"How did you find this place??"

Smiling, he chuckled slightly as well. "Guess you never forget that kinda thing, eh?"

"It comes from 6 years of military training" he chuckled

Slumping down on a chair, he raised his legs and crossed them on the table before rubbing his head wearily. "You really know how to punch, you know." He said jokingly as he rubbed his nose.

Skye meanwhile sat at the top of the stairs listening to the two speak.

"C'mon... We'll stay here... Think of how to get rid of all those... Those things..."

He looked at his friend and made a feeble attempt at a smile.

Walking over to Llywelyn, he put a hand on his shoulder reassuringly.

He sighed and nodded "ok..."
The Welshman was clearly suffering quite badly at the loss of his family and struggling not to break down.

Sighing quietly, he shrugged. "Been okay... I suppose..." He walked around aimlessly and stared out of a window. "This place is here... Because... There's something like... Those... Demons... can't get in." Turning to face his blonde friend. "I haven't seen anyone else."

"I came from up North, thought I'd bury my family properly" he smiled weakly "I couldn't leave them there like that.. it hurts to bury your own children...." he trailed off before clearing his voice with a cough.
"Anyway, that doesn't matter" he smiled "How've you been? How comes this place is still intact? Seen anyone?"

Smiling slightly, he stood up and poured the now bloody water down the drain. "So... Where did you come from?" He asked without turning to face Llywelyn.

The blonde shuddered and reminded Carlos that he didn't really need to worry about that kind of thing much.

Flicking his hand away, he glanced over at Llywelyn. "Gotta learn these things when you're in a dangerous time like today." He said as he wiped away the last of the blood and wriggled his nose slightly.

Llywelyn flinched as he saw Carlos do that.

Shrugging, he said it was fine and that he deserved it. Wincing slightly as he continued to clean the wound, he raised his hand up to his nose and held it tightly. Taking a deep breath, he twisted his nose to the right and gritted his teeth in pain.

The blonde watched, feeling slightly guilty about puncing Carlos so hard. It didn't matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't seem to forget what the army had taught him.
"Sorry about that...."

Walking into the kitchen, he grabbed tissues and a glass of water before sitting down at the table. Rolling the tissues into balls, one by one he dipped them in the water and began to wash the blood away from his nose where he had been punched.

Llywelyn sighed and followed Carlos.

Nodding slowly, Carlos heaved himself to his feet before walking silently back into the building that Skye had taken him to.
