Apocalypse Now

Starting to panic even more he struggling, trying to push Carlos away yelling something about not going near him with anymore needles.

Glancing over at Skye, Carlos quickly dried his hands and walked over to him. Kneeling down he began to shake him gently.

The red head rolled over and seemed to be mumbling something under his breath, in an almost paniced voice.

Rolling his eyes, he walked into the place that had kept him safe for so long. A large cave that spread into three different routes; two were dead ends, the other spread on for miles. Carlos walked straight down the middle and came into a larger area of the cave, there was a lake in the middle with clear water and a small camp site to the left where he stayed. Placing Skye down gently, he tried to scoop some water into his hand and wash his face. Knowing full well not to splash Skye with any of the water.

The red head grumbled his apologies before falling unconcious.

Lifting him with ease, he began his way back to the place he had stayed for 6 of the past 10 years unnoticed by anyone.

Again he did so reluctantly, in too much pain to argue. He was still as light as a match stick, skinnier than ever as well.

Moving in front of Skye, he knelt down slightly. "Put you arms around my neck and legs around my waist." He said. He wouldn't allow Skye to strain himself anymore by walking.

The red head nodded reluctantly still gritting his teeth and trying not to cry out loud.

Running over to his friend, he knelt over him placing on hand on his shoulder and one on his arm. "Wether you like it or not, you're coming with me."

Falling to his knees breathing heavily he bit his lip in agony.
"C-carlos....." the mans voice gave away the pain he was in.

A tear slipped down his cheek as he saw Skye slowly get further away. Turning away slightly he cried quietly.

He just shook his head, he couldn't risk it. Skye was shaking really badly, clutching his chest tightly as it started to ache.

"Skye..." He whispered, showing his emotions very clearly. "Please..." He pleaded. Carlos didn't want to be alone anymore, he hadn't had any decent company in 10 years.

Shaking his head he told Carlos he didn't know what he chose to do anymore.
"For all I know they could be making me act like this..." realising this was a possibilty he started to walk away suddenly with his hands in his pockets.

"Skye..." He muttered, clearly upset and stressed by the fact that his friend was acting this way. Carlos didn't know the extent of what it was like to be Skye, though he tried his best to relate. "You're not one of them by choice." Carlos said, standing up straight still looking at Skye.

He shook his head and pulled away from Carlos. It was the first time Skye had even admitted to anyone he was scared. The whole of his body was shaking as he looked up at Carlos.
"Y-you... you don't k-kn-know what... what it's l-like to b-b-be with them..."
He couldn't take looking at Carlos anymore so he looked down to the floor as tears continued to stream down his face.

He know felt even more guilty. He walked over to him and knelt down next to him, placing one gloved hand on Skyes shoulder.
"C'mon... Stop that..." He pleaded, trying to cheer Skye up slightly.
He'd never liked seeing his friend and pupil depressed, and even 10 years on it was no different.

He slumped down to the floor still crying.

Carlos had not prepared himself for such a reaction, he looked incredibly guilty now. "...I'm sorry... I didn't mean to... To..." He couldn't even finish a sentence, as he began to think how much of a jerk he must seem at the moment.

"YES I AM FUCKING SCARED" he turned to face Carlos tears running down his cheeks "I'M FUCKING PETREFIED"

Pivoting on one foot and snarling angrily, he demanded Skye say that to his face. "If I'm a wimp, why do you tell me that whilst you're walking away?! Too scared?!" He growled, flexing his fists by his side.

"Still a fucking wimp" he growled as he turned and walked away

"No. Instead every day I get to live in fear of wether I'll get caught by those demons!!" He growled, shaking with anger. "I don't have time for this..." He snarled and turned away, he'd much rather run then argue and risk the chance of getting caught or attacked.

"YOU'VE SEEN THEM?! HAH! Is that all?! I've been forced TO DO THOSE THINGS YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!" His fists were clenched in anger as he shouted at the dark haired man "You don't have to worry about having yourself locked away whilst the demons controll your body!"
