The boy simply smiled and started to make his way back to the exit, he'd had enough of human contact he liked the quiet. It was easier to cope with.

As they finally reached safety, Carlos pulled himself away from the younger male and slumped down on a nearby chair before stretching his arms. "Well... Thanks... For... Bring me back." He muttered, clearly ashamed of receiving help from someone.

The boy had struggled to stay alive, he'd been stuck there since the whole thing began two years ago.

Carlos was actually surprised to have found someone so far out into no-mans land, after almost a year of doing the job he'd never actually found anyone.

The red head lead the way back. It had been a long time since he'd been in contact with a living being and it was rather strange.

Grumbling, the older male saw no reason to argue with the red head as all he desired now was to get back to safety.

The red head wasn't going to listen and forced Calros to lean on him.

Carlos shook his head and pulled himself away from the red head. "I'm fine. I can do this on my own and I wont get hurt."

Skye smiled slightly and walked over letting the man lean on him.
"You'll just be an easy target if you go on your own..."

Glancing at the red head, he looked slightly confused at to why he had said that. "Yeah... Why?"

The red head rolled his eyes.
"You're a stubborn geezer arn't you..."

Finally managed to stand on his own, the man began to hop back along the road dragging his bad leg behind him.

Skye just nodded but decided he'd tag along incase the accident prone adult got himself into any more trouble.

The older male shook his head quick. "I'll be... Fine." He said, clearly determined to do things on his own.

Ignoring the pain in his shoulder as the man leant on his bad arm he turned and looked at him.
"I guess you're going to need some help getting back...." he said quietly.

Grabbing onto Skye's arm, the man pulled himself up to full height and lent on the younger male for support.

The red headed boy offered his un-wounded arm to give Carlos a hand up.

Carlos nodded shakily, trying not to reveal the amount of pain he was in. Heaving himself to his feet, he flinched and bit his teeth and he put weight down on his now broken leg.

Skye flinched and ran towards the now caved in floor. Bending over he looked down at the man.
"A-are you ok?"

Carlos stood still for a moment, then glanced back at the red head boy. Smiling slightly, he gave him a thumbs up as a sign of thanks. Turning back to continue walking, he trod on the unstable ground (typical of a man of his clumsy nature). As the ground began to give way, the mans leg buckled and he fell to the floor. A loud crack could be heard followed by a yell as the force of the fall caused the males leg to dislocate itself.

Skye thought about the offer for a moment as he watched the man walk away. Looking down the floor he yelled not to tred there because the floor was unstable and it would lead to another trap.

Carlos shrugged, and turned to walk away. "The offers open if you wanna take it some time, you know where the place is." He said with a wave and began to walk away.

Skye blinked, still unsure if he should go.

Carlos couldn't help but laugh at that comment. "Get in the way? You just saved me. I think I'd be safer if you came along."

The red head shook his head "I'd only get in the way..."
