Jurassic Hijinks

Finally finishing his story, Carlos fell silent and stared at the floor uneasily. "I sound crazy, don't I?" He half sighed, not willing to look at his uncle.

Raising an eyebrow Kyle looked at Carlos sceptically.

There was a long pause before Carlos said "No" with a sigh. Running his fingers through his hair, he stared at the floor and began to explain though he didn't seem confident in what he was saying.

"I'm not stupid Carlos, tell me now, or do you want me to call your dad?"

Flinching again, Carlos seemed to look upset. "It's hard to explain..."

"Carlos" Kyle half growled at his nephew "I'm still waiting"

Flinching at the sound of his uncles voice, he turned slowly to look over his shoulder. He seemed almost scared of his uncle, well... More scared of what his reaction might be.

Crossing his arms Kyle half glared at Carlos' back.
"I'm waiting"

The dark haired male attempt to stall for as much time as possible, completely reluctant to explain anything to his uncle; especially in front of Skye. Sighing, he rubbed his head and turned away slightly from Kyle hoping that he wouldn't push Carlos to explain the situation. However, somewhow he knew this wouldn't be the case.

Whilst his cousin did that Skye sat down and took deep breaths whilst trying to hold the stitches together.

"Gimme a minute." Carlos gasped between breaths as he coughed and tried to ease his breathing to a more regular pace.

Looking at the two of them he did as he'd been told.
"Soo... care to explain what's happening?"

Carlos barged past, pulling Skye inside as he did. Leaning against the wall, he began to catch his breath. "Shut the door." He mumbled between breaths.

Jumping he fell off of the sofa he'd been sleeping on. Groaning and rubbing his head Kyle walked towards the door and opened it.
"Mm...?"

As Carlos reached the home, he slammed his fists against the door as he yelled for his uncle to open the door.

Wincing Skye began to walk again, fast than previously.

Looking around, Carlos was beginning to panic. "... Not too far..."

Stopping completely, Skye leant against a wall shakily. He couldn't carry on.
"How much futher..."

Carlos was getting desperate, he wanted to run as quickly as possible but had to slow down so his cousin could keep up with him. He was beginning to get terrorfied of what might happen.

Skye moved as fast as he could in the direction that Carlos was going, his stomach was hurting so much that it felt like it was about to burst open.

"Just follow me, quickly!" He pleaded as he began to run back towards his uncles home.

Looking at his cousin Skye gave in.
"Fine.."

"Please... I just want you to trust me..."

The red head stood up and winced, clutching at his stomach tightly.
"Sorry... It wasn't your fault.. I ... I shouldn't have snapped like that.."

Carlos expression changed almost instantly, to one of depression. Sighing, he turned away from his cousin "Alright..."
