Apocalypse Now

His large wings spread out again.
"Carlos.. is this thing... familiar to you?"

Harry stared innocently at him with his large green eyes. He wondered if he even realised at all who he was..

Bending over SKye lifted Harry up by the scruff of his neck.

Harry growled back, crouching back and stretching back, looking at skye and then prancing around proudly, waiting to see if they would get the idea who he was, or whether he should give up and walk off, he wasn't going to transform until he confirmed they were who HE thought THEY were after all.

Narrowing his eyes, studying the slightly familiar fox. Carlos merely growled, hoping that what he assumed to be a normal fox would run away.

Jess meanwhile sat in the tree watching the demon, fox and wolf intently.

Harry hoped that Jess would stay hidden until he told her it was OK. He flicked his tail and acted in a fox like curious manner looking at Carlos' wolf form, sitting down and staring at him.

Hearing the noise startled Skye, he almost jumped out of his skin as he stumbled backwards to see the fox.
Blinking he raised an eyebrow slightly.
"Isn't that..."

Harry looked at Jess to make sure she was OK. Squeezing her hand and kissing it lightly he stared at them both. They were both very familiar... especially the older male. "Ahh.." he said with a slight smile. My favourite chagrin and my ginger, he said with a smile, transforming into his fox form and jumping down. If they were truly who they thought he was... they would recognise this form.

"I don't want to be here then..." the boy tralied off starting to feel less comfortable by the minute rubbing his arm gingerly.

Sitting down and glancing around rather suspiciously, he mumbled; "Whatevers around here killed plenty of demons.., Dunno wether it's safer or not." The phrase 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend.' soon popped into his mind.

"Okay..." he thought to himself. Perfectly normal, wolf and winged person talking to each other hunting us.
"Probably a bad move to try and get away...", he said pondering how to make their escape. They didn't look like the kind who would recognise the mark of his sword, so they weren't an immediate threat... yet.

Nodding weakly the black haired male trained to regain his breath.

(( ... I keep forgetting that Skye's hair is black X_X ))

The wolf soon met with his friend, the stench of lavender in his nostrils. "Guess you can smell it too." The shaggy wolf said as he continued to sniff around.

Skye coughed and folded his wings together continuing to cough, he wasn't in the best of states and the reek of the lavender didn't make him feel any better.

Looking up as well Harry saw what Jess was talking about. She wasn't having delusions from fear, that much was for certain. "Get under the cloak. Quickly!" he said with a manner of harsh urgency, felling another demon to the side and sheathing his sword, spraying the lavender onto the demon to lead them off the trail, and ridding himself of the scent, putting the cloak over both of them and heading up the nearest tree, huddled closely together. Kissing her head again Harry told her softly not to worry.

Jess looked up and stuttered words came from her mouth.
"H-h-haryy..." it was unusual for the red head to sound as shocked/scared as she did "... that person has wings... don't they.... not.. feathery wings either...."

Skidding to a halt, the rather scruffy wolf sniffed about the ground and the air. Sneezing slightly, he looked rather confused. "That smell can't be normal..." He muttered under his breath and followed the smells trail quietly.

Smiling Harry kissed the top of her forehead. They had been together for a long time, not in the way most people think. He had shown odd restraint when it had come to Jess. He suddenly stopped as he felt a gust of wind.. a wind from the opposite way it was meant to be blowing... it felt almost like a thermal... from beating wings. Grimacing, he looked at Jess to see if she had noticed anything.

The red haired woman, now in her mid thirties wrinkled her nose in disgust as the silver haired male sprayed more of the scent.
"That stuff smells disgusting and makes me tired" she grumbled as she held in a yawn.

Skye, wincing as he did so, grew wings from his back and flew into the air hopping to get some form of idea as to what was going on.

Just to avert his paranoia, Harry took many different turns through the forest. Sure there was no-one visible in sight, but that was just the thing. Not visible didn't mean not there. He had turned slightly paranoid in not getting caught, but mainly that was for Jess' sake. Which he hoped she would understand as he sprayed more lavendar on himself and Jess to ward demons off his own scent.

Running after his friend, Carlos decided he would find it easier to run on all fours. Lowering himself as he continued to run, his hands soon changed to paws along with his feet, a drooping tail hung extended out of his spine and his human skull morphed shape. Finishing the change, he began to run ahead.

"Keep walking obviously" he said with a roll of the eyes. "Someone comes, we put on the cloak again, and they won't be able to see us" he said, kicking a stray stone and killing another demon up ahead with one fluid movement.

Jess sighed as she walked with Harry.
"What now? What do we do? Someone'll find you eventually you know..."

Skye meanwhile continued to run towards the noise.

The corpses lay littered with the jagged slash's of Harry's sword, yet miraculously lay clean besides the slashes, no blood seeped out, and they simply lay there looking more surprised then anything else. A trail of converse footprint lay in the ground.
