Apocalypse Now

Carlos narrowed his eyes, keeping an eye on the man, unsure wether to trust this man (and unsure of who it actually was).

The man held his hands in the air.
Skye finally reached Carlos' side, now totally out of breath.

His vision still blurred, he scrambled to his feet at hearing someone speak. Pulling out his knife, he pointed it at the man.

The man stood above him cursed.

Carlos soon opened his eyes and grumbled in anger about being woken, he looked up sleepily not exactly sure what was happening.

(( *cries* fuck offf XD I'm tiredddd *pushes you* XD ))

A loud yell came from back towards the house. It was Skye hoping to wake Carlos up.

((Carlod is xD Carlos isn't ;D xDDD lolololol))

Carlos snored loudly, the trail of drool retreating back to his mouth.

(( *flops on you* Carlod is definatly emo XD ))

The man looked down at Carlos once he'd reached him and sighed.

The male not only managed to relax, but he managed to doze off entirely. His mouth was wide open, a large trail of dribble flowing from it and down onto the floor.

A dark figure made it's way towards Carlos slowly.

Carlos lay near the outskirts of the border, his eyes still closed as he continued to relax in the grass.

The red head went out looking for his friend, slightly concerned that he might be in one of the barriers weaker areas.

Relaxing on the ground with his eyes shut, he rembered how things used to be. Thoughts raced through his mind of his friends as a small tear trickled down his cheek.

The place was silent, and looked seemingly untouched by the events of the past years.

Slumping down, he rubbed his head. He really wished for this living nightmare to end, he'd had enough of it.

Skye had placed a protective barrier around the house and for at least 5 miles surrounding it, no fully fledged demons, or people with ill-intent could pass through.
Sitting in his room with his head in his hands he started to feel sick.

Carlos now felt worse than ever, he frowned and walked out of the room and outside to get some fresh air uncaring of any danger.

The red head sighed.
"Whatever" he got up and walked out of the room.

"Stop being so negative. Least you're bloody safe."

Skye laughed weakly "Doubt it"

Carlos smiled again. "At least you tried. They'll be kicking themselves when they find out you were trying to help."

Skye hadn't thought of himself in a long time, it was everyone else he was worried about. He'd beaten himself up about how many he'd killed. Having felt awful about it he'd tried to help, but all he'd received in return was abuse.

"Oh..." Carlos hasn't actually expected the younger male to try and do anything like that, and was rather surprised that he had tried to help other people aside from himself.

"... I've tried to do something... but they all know that I was with the other side... so... they tend to get violent..."
