The smile on the boys face widened as he stood up, pleased with his deal. "Where is he then?" He asked and waited patiently for a reply.

The teacher grumbled "I thought that might be the request."
A few minutes passed as the man thought to himself.
"... fine..."

((I'll try to stay on as long as possible.))

Carlos' answer was instant and clear; "Excused from all current detentions and any I might get in the future." He stated with a smile.

"What do you want" the head master asked regretably

Carlos' heart suddenly felt as if it had been pulled out and painfully shoved back in. He had immediate sympathy for anyone who might understand what he had been through, though he still doubted that anyone had felt more emotional agony than him.
"So, I just have to look after him while he's here?" He asked plainly before smirking to himself. "And what do I get out of this?"

The man had seen this coming and sighed.
"We have a transfer student joining the school today, I'd like you to look after him specifically. He's an orphen who is currently living in an Orphanage. He doesn't tend to talk, when he came in for the interview he reminded me very much of how you used to be."
He continued, explaining it to Carlos in depth.

Crossing his arms rather lazily, he told the man that he wouldn't make an agreement until he knew the full extent of the favour; and of course that he wouldn't do it for free.

"For once, you havn't actually done anything wrong. I'd like to ask a favor of you" He said as he leaned on the table resting his head on his hands staring intently at Carlos.

Carlos sat uneasily, concerned about what he had done wrong. "If this is about me being late again, I have an explanation." he said defensively as he sat facing the man. Despite his constant lateness and lack of concentration, Carlos was achieving surprisingly good grades.

The man had dark brown, almost black hair and green eyes. He opened a door after 5 minutes which lead to a rather large room with an eboney desk in the middle which looked like it was about to collapse with the amount of files that lay ontop of it.
"Sit" he said as he pulled out a chair for the younger male and proceeded to sit in a chair facing Carlos.

Carlos sighed almost silently, clearly agitated by being called by his last name. "Fine..." He replied quietly, turning on his heel to face the man behind him and follow him.

"Mr Burgundy" the voice sounded quite harsh "If you would kindly follow me into my office it would be greatly apprieciated."
The man watched Carlos as he stood in the corridor.

A teenage boy was seen walking down the narrow streets towards his school, a messenger bag was slung over his left shoulder. His tie was lazily tied around the collar of his button up shirt which was filthy to say the least. His face covered in dirt as well as his hair, the only feature that seemed to be clean was his bright blue eyes. Grumbling about how he didn't want to go into school, he continued to walk.

Making his way into the school he began to walk to his first class, clearly late yet in no hurry to reach his destination. To nobodies surprise, Carlos was soon halted by a voice behind him.
