Jurassic Hijinks

The dark haired males anger had been building up ever since the woman had left. He now exploded and gushed out insults and curses at her, even though he couldn't see her.

Gradually the boys ears started to changce shape and become more rounded and feline. The fur that covered him was a golden yellow with black, circular markings all over it.

Carlos continued to try and comfort the boy. "It's alright..." He would mutter occassionally, trying to calm the child down.

Skye's tears had almost drenched the part of Carlos' shirt he was crying into. He'd never been told that this kind of thing was possible, he was possibly one of the most sheltered people you could imagine and totally innocent to boot.

Glancing down at the boy, he caught a glimpse of the fur. Letting out a deep sigh, he held the boy closer.

Skye was ever so greatful Carlos wasn't coming in contact with his now fur-covered skin.

The dark haired male continued to rub the boys back gently in an attempt to calm him down. "Just don't worry." He would mumble every so often to try and reassure him. Truth is; Carlos was worrying. Worrying about what was happening.

Trying to keep himself from making any more noise than he currently was, Skye tried to calm himself down, though this was rather hard when you could see, what seemed to be, fur growing from your skin. Shutting his eyes tightly the red head tried to take his thoughts off of the current situation.

The older male didn't seem to pay attention to the boys actions; he was more enthralled in brooding over his theories as to what was going on.

Whimpering Skye tried desperately to ignore the huge amount of pain he was in. Blood still seeped from the scratches he’d given himself to try and keep his mind off of the pain all over. Biting into his own hand only caused more pain, this shocked him; his teeth hadn’t been sharp enough to draw blood that easily before. Looking at the bite mark on his hand he started to panic. The mark reminded him more of the time his next door neighbours dog had attacked his older brother’s leg.
Quickly he tried to hide his hand from Carlos. The pain was starting to get a bit too much for the 6-year-old. He was shaking from the effort of not screaming out in pain. It felt almost as if his back was popping and trying to elongate itself.
Tears trickled down his cheeks as the sensation continued.

The boys feverish temperature didn't stop the older male from holding him close and rubbing the boys back gently.

The boy clung to Carlos and cried quietly, he was boiling to touch.

Sighing shakily, the older male tried to comfort the boy by holding him close. "Don't worry... I wont let anything hurt you."

"Everywhere" he whimpered, curling up into an even tighter ball than he had been previously.

"What hurts?" Carlos asked, clearly panicking.

"I-It hurts" The young boy sobbed. Something clearly wasn't right.

Letting out a sigh, Carlos glanced back over to the red head boy. He noticed that the boy was bleeding, which caused him to raise an eyebrow. "What did you do?" He asked, slightly shocked.

Whilst the conversation had been going on Skye had been scratching at his skin so hard he'd managed to pull some of it away and was bleeding slightly.

Carlos merely huffed and rolled his eyes as Silvia turned away.

"A respectful one" She said as she yet again turned and walked away.

Carlos sneered before sighing to try and calm himself down. "What tone should I use then?" He asked calmly.

"I don't think I'll be letting you out when you're speaking to me in THAT tone of voice"

"Maybe because i'm in a cage." Carlos snapped in reply.

"But you don't seem to be in the mood for a 'sensible' conversation" Silvia pointed out.
Clearly she wasn't as stupid as she was crazy.

As his anger built up inside of him, he began to breathe heavily through gritted teeth. "Why not open the cage so we can talk sensibly?"
