Jurassic Hijinks

Carlos sat and smiled at his red head cousin, a jolt of happiness coursed through him as he thought of how everyone would react when they see how easily he would get off of drugs.

Just over two months had passed before most of the dark haired males family thought he was clean from drugs, truth was; he hadn't done anything. Just kept his normal routine that he would've had if he were back in his regular life. He sat in a chair in his living room, his mother, father, uncle, Skye and even Llywelyn sat with him. Despite not doing anything, Carlos still seemed proud of himself (probably because he was getting praised by some people). He sat with a smile on his face, looking at everyone sat in the room.

"heh... that's good then" Skye smiled

Noticing the distinct change in eye colour from the Skye had known, Carlos smiled at his cousin. "Of course I mean it." After all... It wont be that hard considering I'm not on drugs. he thought to himself.

"... You mean it this time.. right?" Skye looked up at Carlos.
For the first time Carlos would've been able to notice the lack of one blue and one purple eye. Both were blue.

Glancing at who he considered his friend rather than his cousin, Carlos smiled at him and nudged him gently. "I promise, I'll stop doing all the drugs and the drinking."

Skye just shut up and looked down at the floor silently, he looked more like the old future Skye than the confident one now.

"And I know why I didn't stop." He stopped Skye from trailing off into any more detail, he would rather not know about what he's done. "I just... Didn't believe any of you supported me." He really was making this up as he went along, unsure of what had happened before he had arrived in the altered future.

Skye felt sorry for Carlos.
"Your parents.. they want to believe you can do it.. but... you've tried so many times before...." he trailed off unsure of what to say

The dark haired male couldn't help but chuckle. "For you, because you and your dad are the only ones who think I can sort myself out."

The red head whimpered slightly "That hurt Carlossss. Head. Is. Sore... and why me..?"

Carlos smiled and gave his cousin a quick noogie before sitting next to him on the bed. "I'm gonna try and sort myself out. For you."

"oh.. right... yeah... umm.. you're welcome?" Skye hadn't been thanked by anyone for anything in a long time, mainly because he avoided making contact with anyone.

"For offering to help me get off drugs... I know I've probably been in a pain in the ass... But... I still want to thank you." Carlos said with a faint glimmer of a smile.

Skye blinked and looked at Carlos.
"Eh? Whut..." the younger male looked completely and utterly confused "What're you thanking me for?"

Carlos sighed deeply, and still apologised. "I only wanted to say... Thanks in advance for trying to help me."

Sighing Skye continued to rub his head.
"It's ok.. .I'm just being childish..."

Carlos once again became over run with guilt, he apologised hastily and let out a sigh.

Skye winced as he hit his head against the wall rather harshly.
".. damnit..." his voice now shaky "that fucking hurt Carlos..."

The older male gave out an angry growl as he shoved his younger cousin away. "NO! Talk to me. NOW."

"GIVE THEM BACK NOW!" He blatently ignored the last thing Carlos said as he tried again to take the covers back.

Carlos kept a tight grip on the covers and continued to glare at his cousin. "I'll give them back after you tell me what's wrong."

Skye glared up at Carlos and tried to take the covers back.
"DAMNIT CARLOS IT'S FREEZING!" His eyes were somewhat redder than normal which was a give-away of the fact that he'd been crying.

"Oi!" He yelled, and pulled the covers off from over the red head. "Talk to me."

Skye couldn't see the glare seeing as whilst Carlos wasn't looking he'd pulled the covers over himself. The red head continued to ignore the green haired male.

Letting out a growl of annoyance, Carlos stomped over to the CD player and turned it off and turned to glare at Skye. "Talk to me. Now. What's wrong?"
