Jurassic Hijinks

"Well I did...." Skye fell silent and stared at the floor.

Carlos began to rub his head in confusion, glancing at the red head. He decided to explain. "...Do you know anyone called Veltan?"

"Hrmmm, I'm 19 so that would make it 19 years" Skye rolled his eyes "What's wrong with you?!"
The red head actually looked deeply concerned.

Whacking Skye's hand away, he glared at the red head. Sighing in annoyance, the older male rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Since when have we been cousins?"

"Have you been taking drugs instead of drinking?" Skye knocked on Carlos' head "Helloooooo, anyone in there? Remember, your dad and my dad are brothers? Ring any bells C.O.U.S.I.N?"

Scratching at the back of his neck, Carlos glanced at the red head. "Why did you call my dad uncle?" He asked with his eyebrow raised.

"What's wrong? You said you wanted to talk to me..." Skye was now confused, he couldn't smell any alcohol on Carlos' breath.

Leading Skye away, Vincent called out and told him he'd leave the door open. Walking around the corner, Carlos brushed his fingers through his hair gently a heaved a deep sigh.

"urhh... sure..?"

Vincent glanced at Carlos, a slight look of disappointment on his face. Carlos' expression was more one of shock at the fact that Skye had just called his father 'uncle'. "...Skye? ...Can I talk to you for a sec?"

"Hey Uncle" Skye smiled "urhhh... just thought I'd bring Carlos back.. again.. he couldn't remember who you were yet alone where he lived"

Carlos merely laughed nervously and shrugged, slightly frightened about meeting his parents once again. A tall man opened the door, he was a little shorter than the two who stood on the door step yet he was still gangly enough to be considered lanky. He smiled from behind his glasses. "Hey, you two."

After a few minutes Skye knocked on a door and awaited and answer.
"How do I explain you got drunk.. AGAIN?!"

Carlos had no idea what was going on. Why were his parents still alive? And why was Skye so insanely confident? He didn't feel comfortable asking Skye these questions, so he just kept silent.

Skye grumbled and crossed his arms before leading Carlos back in the direction he'd just come from.

Rubbing the back of his neck nervously, Carlos smiled slightly at the red head. "Thanks."

"Christ you've been drinking again havn't you" Skye sighed and rubbed his head "Fine, I'll lead you back.. AGAIN..."

Rolling his eyes slightly, Carlos realised he had no idea wether his house was here or where it had always been before; the middle of nowhere. "...Where is my house?" He asked, clearly slightly confused.

"At your house" Skye said as if he was speaking to some kind of idiot.
The new Skye had an awful lot more confidence than the past one had.

Rubbing his head with one hand, he realised that Veltan had indeed altered the past and therefore the future. Letting out a sigh, Carlos looked at the red head. "Where is he?"

"Urhhhh your D.A.D wants you..." Skye raised an eyebrow "Is it that hard to understand?"

The older males heart seemed to stop as he heard the red head mention his face. "W-wait... What?" He asked, clearly in disbelief.

"Hey.. OH... did you know your dads looking for you?" Skye asked

Glancing both ways on the road, Carlos ran across over to the red head with a smile on his face. "Hey."

Skye looked at Carlos, smiled and waved back.
