Jurassic Hijinks

"I... I just wanted someone to talk to..." He said rather disappointedly, his confidence had now seemed to drop. After he spoke, he kept silent and merely stared at Skye from behind his dark hair that covered his face.

Skye's shoulders slumped. It was obvious the last thing he wanted to do was talk. Turning around Skye looked at Carlos, the red head clearly wasn't well and he knew it was his own fault for the state he was in.
"Hrm...?"

Glancing at the red head as he walked past, Carlos stopped and turned to watch him walk away. "Hey!" He called out, almost desperately. All he wanted was someone to talk to, even if all they did was call him mad.

Skye had eventually woken up and started home. He grumbled at himself for being such an idiot to stay outside all day and all night sleeping in drenched clothing.
Crossing his arms he walked past Carlos shivering although it wasn't cold.

After a few hours of wandering, Carlos decided it was best to head home (despite the fact that he would have no one to talk to there). Letting out a deep, sigh he began to walk back to his home with his hands in his pockets. After all he seen and heard, he wasn't surprised if he'd become an alcoholic and a druggie.

Not much else had changed. Everything else was just as it had been before Leiard had sent Carlos and Skye back.

Carlos merely smiled weakly at his blonde friend and thanked him before he continued to wander, hoping that nothing else had changed.

The blonde smiled and reminded Carlos that if he ever needed help or just someone to talk to he was there.

Letting out a sigh, Carlos rubbed his head and apologised. "Sorry... Just got... A lot going on right now." He admitted with a sigh. He was beginning to get a head ache thinking about all the things that had changed.

Llywelyn sighed "I'll just stop trying to help.. sorry"
The blonde wasn't stupid, he could tell when Carlos was nearing the end of his teather.

"Then I'll get a job. Simple, really." He said with a slight hint of annoyance.

"... Carlos you're broke" Llywelyn rubbed the back of his head sheepishly "Broke and in a seiriously large amount of debt.."

Carlos merely shrugged. "I can move out whenever I like." He said, clearly trying to show a sense of indepence and that he doesn't need to rely on everyone else to look after him.

Llywelyn couldn't help but laugh.
"If you do manage it mate I'll be dead chuffed for ya if you manage it mate" he smiled "You'll be able to get a job again and move out of your parents house"

"Yeah..." Carlos muttered, he really hated having the reputation of being a drunken stoner who needed help from everybody.

"I could hear you and Skye having another arguement last night, you know it's not easy for him don't you?" Llywelyn sighed "Anyway, I heard you're trying to sober up again."

Carlos gave a quick gulp. He knew he was screwed now, there was no way he could keep quiet all the time. "Uhh... R-right..." He said, though he began to wonder if Llywelyn knew about how Carlos apparantly was in this new future.

"Because they have the authority to kill people on sight, even for just speaking out of place"

Holding his head in one hand, Carlos groaned and grumbled. "This is insane..." He muttered under his breath. "Why do they think they're so bloody great?" Carlos asked, clearly refering the group of police who had passed by.

Rubbing his head Llywelyn started to explain about the hourly marches the 'High' police took around the city.
"Ever since the incident at the school the goverment has become more wary, the school wasn't the first incident of it's kind... there were a few before it, but they managed to keep them covered up, because the school was the largest one and one person survived they couldn't keep that one covered up." Llywelyn tried to explain about the terrorist-like groups that have been destroying the city part by part for the past three years.

The dark haired male seemed to growl at his friend as he made up such a stupid excuse. Pulling himself away from the blonde as soon as the group had passed, he glared coldly at him. "What the bloody hell is going on?!"

Llywelyn flinched and put his hand over Carlos' mouth before whispering.
"I'll explain when they're gone... just... shush..."

The police turned to face the two of them, Llywelyn just smiled nervously and tried to keep Carlos from speaking.
"He's got tourette's..."
The, what looked like, head of the group rolled his eyes and passed them.

The dark haired male glanced at the blonde. "Llywelyn?" He said, clearly quiet shocked to see his friend (seeing as pretty much everyone else he knew was either a complete ass or dead). "What're you doing?"

As the police got closer to Carlos a familiar looking blonde pulled him out of the way of the police.
"Damnit Carlos... I know you're not in the best of states but you should know not to get in their way" A heavily Welsh accented voice hissed in his ear.

Carlos didn't stop at all, instead he continued to walk along with his hands in his pockets. Concerned by the sudden silence of those around him, he glanced up at what he assumed be a normal group of police and wondered why people were stopping for them.
